ROTARIAN AL LOUIS VOLUNTEERING IN ARIZONA
Rotarian Al Louis volunteers even when he is out of town on vacation. Al helped at the 7th Annual Havasu Balloon Festival and Fair.
Entrance fee was $15 per person for three days. There were 186 vendors that included crafts, food, gift and other items. There were 90 different balloon
ists. You were able to take rides for a charge...2 were tethered for people to go up but attached to the ground for a charge. Four beer gardens on the grounds...and that is where you would of found Al volunteering...he did one four hour shift. This is a 100% volunteer event..zero paid staff. Three Rotary Clubs and Two Lions Club and 1200 community members made up the workforce. Attendance is 25,000 and growing each year. More info available on their website.
