Our speaker today is Randy Sproule. Randy is an attorney for the Wisconsin Supreme Court. He has been a member of Madison South Rotary since 1989 and has served as the District 6250 Polio Eradication Chair for the past 24 years. He is a Level 2 Major Donor to the Rotary Foundation. In 2008 Randy was one of 6 individuals in the United States to receive the “Service For A Polio Free World Award” from the President of the Rotary Foundation. He will talk to us today about Rotary’s extraordinary efforts to eradicate polio.
We saw a peek behind the curtain of the La Crosse Community Theatre (LCT) Expansion Project as Erik provides an in-depth look at the reasons behind LCT's need for growth and how it aligns with their mission to better serve the community. The presentation will cover the key steps taken to reach this stage of the project, highlight significant accomplishments to date, and offer insight into future plans.
All proceeds go to the Rotary Club of La Crosse and are used to support a wide variety of activities and initiatives.

In her November message to Rotarians worldwide, President Stephanie A. Urchick
reiterates the power of TRF to transform dreams of change into reality. Commenting
specifically on the impact of the Rotary Peace Fellowship on preventing and
ultimately ending conflicts, President Urchick acknowledges the commendable gift of
$15.5 million (USD) from Otto and Fran Walter Foundation which makes it possible
to “…continue supporting peacebuilders in more regions with the next Rotary
Presidential Peace Conference in Istanbul.” In addition, she highlights the importance
of Rotary Foundation’s month as a viable time for members to get to know their
Foundation better by pursuing causes that they find appealing, citing some well-known Foundation long-term projects like the Programs of Scale, and Global and District grants, which respectively, sponsor large international activities and small scale, short-term projects. President Urchick concludes by reminding Rotarians more work needs be done.
