County Health Department Update
The County Health Department is strongly recommending that anyone over the age of two (2) wear a mask in public, indoor spaces AND at indoor, private gatherings. This guidance also applies to those who have been vaccinated.  Hand sanitizer will be at each table for your convenience. Meals will be plated and served to you.
This Week Week at Rotary:
Karen Hebert - District Governor
We are looking forward to hosting Karen Hebert, our 2021-22 District Governor. Karen joined The Rotary Club of EauClaire in 1989 where she served as President from 2003-2004. A move lead to her transfer to The Rotary Club of Chippewea Falls. Here, she served six years as Executive Secretary. Karen recently transferred her membership to The Chippewa Valley After Hours Rotary Club. She states that of all the roles she has held within Rotary, her favorite role is that of "fellow".

Toastmasters/Rotary Educational Courses

There’s a lot to love about the alliance between Rotary and Toastmasters as it leverages the strengths of both organizations for the personal and professional growth of all members. As part of the alliance, Toastmasters developed online leadership and communication courses specifically for Rotary members. Eight courses are available free for Rotarians and Rotaract members to access on Rotary’s Learning Center (member login required). After you login to My.Rotary, click on the Learning & Reference tab, then click on Learning Center, and choose "Professional Development." (Note: as a Rotarian, you can register for a free My.Rotary account here if you haven't done so already).

Member Spotlight: John Wettstein

A Rotarian for 57 years, John Wettstein was born & raised in La Crosse where he attended Holy Trinity Grade School and Aquinas High School.   His professional career was at the family business on 3rd St., Wettstein's TV & Appliances where Bruce Swanwick was one of his employees. After retiring, for a brief time John was Interim Director for DMI.  Most weekday mornings you can find him at Grounded Coffee absorbing all the news in the New York Times.  He's also very knowledgeable about La Crosse businesses.  Since its inception, John has been involved with Rotary Lights.
