THIS WEEK AT ROTARY
This week at Rotary we will have our annual Christmas Program at the Radisson Center.   Dean Dickinson has put together a great program for us. The following will be entertaining us:  Miya Servais, Leo Servais, Madeline Henneman, Sydney Henneman, Wyatt Restel, Robert and Annaliese Bruns, Jacob and Katherine Bruns, Katherine Bruns, Ben Geister and Roman Parrish.   If you know of someone else that would like to entertain us contact Dean.   We are asking all to dress festive!

We ask that you register yourself and guests.  if you plan to attend our Christmas Program......please click here and register today.

Reminder that parking will be an issue that day so come early.

YOUTH EXCHANGE STUDENT UPDATE
As you know our Youth Exchange Student for the 2017-18 year is Rebeca from Parana, Brazil.  Rebeca has moved recently to her new host family....Tami and Brian Woods family.

Thanks to all who purchased her Brazilian Brigadeiros last week.... she sold out very quickly!!

We hope you will remember her this Christmas with a small gift and/or consider opening up your hearts and home to make Rebeca feel welcome...(she has a wish list so $ is an option).

She is staying at three host families while she is here however, we would love to have other Rotary families help make Rebeca feel at home in La Crosse.  Are you going to have a family gathering or attend a special event....ask Rebeca to join your family.  Your family will gain a new global perspective, many memories and quite possibly a new family member for life.

A little insight on Rebeca...she is a member of a Interact Club...she enjoys being part of something that serves humanity. She enjoys watching movies, reading books, taking pictures, meeting new places and going out with her family, usually at a park to play volley.   She intends to do an undergraduate course in cinema and work in film directing. She chose this path when she was in 9th grade while doing theater in school.

*****Just a reminder that if you will be one-on-one with Rebeca, you will need a background check.  This is done through the Rotary District site and our club will cover the cost.  Click here to process your background check.

We were hoping to have time to show members how to email Rotarians from ClubRunner.  We hope to have another meeting in the future to highlight some of the features of ClubRunner.   If you would like to learn how to email members, here is a 7 minute video for you to view.
