We would like to thank everyone who helped make our Holiday Program such a heart-warming and delightful event.
Special thanks to our performers who shared their talent with us: Miya and Leo Servais, Tessa, Annabelle and Roman Parrish, Maya Chilcote, Allie Schlicht and Nola Dienger Hanson, Madeline, Isabella and Sophia Masewicz, Inga Rottmann (our exchange student), Riley Horn and the Central High School Choir directed by Mike Esser.
Thank you to Dean Dickinson for organizing our Christmas Program, to Al Louis for the Hanukkah Reflection and Linda Zoerb for donating the poinsettias.
November is Foundation Month. This is the time to renew your pledges to the Rotary Foundations for 2020 & 2021. You recently received a letter and personal pledge form either at a Rotary Meeting or by mail. We are asking you to return your pledge form by December 31st.
If you do not return the form we will assume that you will be pledging the same as 2019. If you do not have a pledge form on file from 2019, Lyn sent an email out to you with a pledge form attached asking you to fill out and return. If you can not pledge at this time, just check that box and return to Lyn. We would like to have a form on file for all so we know you were given the opportunity to support the Foundations.
Those that pledge $100 or more to the Rotary International Polio Fund during this enrollment period will be given matching points, thanks to a number of generous Rotarians in our club. This means if you pledge $100 to PP you will be given 100 points, $200 you will be given 200 points. We have over $10,000 pledged to Polio Plus so far!
If you have any questions, contact rotarylax@charter.net.
This year you are given the opportunity to make your Rotary Foundation INTERNATIONAL pledge through Rotary Direct. You can enroll online at www.rotary.org/give. If you give to both the Annual Fund-Share (funds come back to our District for grants) and Polio Plus you may need to fill out the form twice. If you decide to give online - please NOTE that on your pledge form so that I don't bill you on your invoice in January.
The Nomination Committee presented to membership on Thursday, December 12th the 2020-21 Club Board and Rotary Works Foundation Board representatives. The nominations will be presented and voted on at our annual meeting on January 16th.Link to Nominations.
