Andy Bakkum and Dean Dickenson will award Paul Harris awards.
According to Rotary International, "The Paul Harris Fellow recognition acknowledges individuals who contribute, or who have contributions made in their name, of $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation.
Rotary established the recognition in 1957 to encourage and show appreciation for substantial contributions to what was then the Foundation’s only program, Rotary Foundation Fellowships for Advanced Study, the precursor to Ambassadorial Scholarships."
Wow! Sarah Arendt-Beyer said she could hear the buzz of the meeting as she walked up. I would say there was a buzz in the air - both from the excited chatter and from the Blue Angels that Andy coordinated to cycle overhead.
We finally got to meet some of the newer members who have joined since COVID.
A reminder to keep reaching out to the people with red badges and give them a regular, warm Rotary welcome.
As a reminder, we will be meeting in-person starting on July 1 at the Cargill Room at the Waterfront. Please start marking your calendar now so that we can see you.
We will still be sending out a Zoom link each week even if you are on the in-person list for any Rotarian to jump on as needed.
You are invited to a fellowship at the home of Bob and Jen Masewicz.
Fellowship
Wednesday, June 23rd from 5-8PM
Bob and Jen Masewicz's home
W5750 Sherwood Drive
La Crosse, WI 54601
RSVPing is not required, but if you do know that you're coming, please send Patt Boge (patriciaboge@yahoo.com) an email so she can give Bob and Jen a heads up on how much wine to open. She also can help answer any questions.
For any new members, a fellowship is an open invite to gather and get to know fellow Rotarians.
