Our program last week was "UWL "Hear Here" Project..presenter Ariel Beaujot.  “Hear, Here,” is a historical tour in which participants can stop at marked spots in the city and use cell phones to hear stories of people tied to the spots. In downtown La Crosse, orange street-level signs with the Hear, Here logo will show you where stories are located. With your mobile phone, dial a toll-free number on the signs to access first-person accounts of things that happened in the exact location where you stand. Click here to visit their web site and learn more about the "Hear Here" in La Crosse.

We will also welcomed our Students of the Month.  Central High School:  Grace Von Ruden - January; Gillian Manske - February; Allison Kramer - March.Logan High School: Oscar Li – January; Laura Kammer – February; Jenna Lee – March.  Aquinas High School: Jenalee Emmert - January; Dylan English – February;Jacob Leinbach (did not attend) - March.

Kids Coulee Work Day was a success ..report from the committee.

We had a fine day for cleaning and a good group showed up to work. We raked, swept, repaired, painted and then enjoyed burgers and pork chops courtesy of Steve Lindeman and Steve Doll. Tools were donated by the city and by Tony Szak/Market and Johnson

Thanks to those that helped....Steve Lindeman, Kurt Schroeder, Brad Reinhart, Peter Krause, Dave Clements, Dave Morrison, Jerry Hanoski, Chuck Hanson, Cheryl Hanson, Roger Christians, Steve Doll, Ben Lacheki, Steve Schultz, Nick Passe, Sarah Arendt-Beyer...Caroline's host family and friends also helped along with an outbound student and family.

It was one the best clean-up days I can remember.
