This Week: Jamie O'Neill, Eco Trip to Mexico

Rotarian Jamie O'Neill had the opportunity to participate in the Rotary Environmental Tour in Mexico in October 2022. Over the six-day trip, the group visited five Rotary clubs located between Mexico City and Guadallajara, where they witnessed various environmental projects being carried out firsthand. These projects included river clean-ups, school environmental initiatives, water treatment centers, tree planting, and more. Jamie plans to showcase these impressive projects and share some key takeaways that can be beneficial to any Rotary committee aiming to make a difference.   "It was truly remarkable to see the transformative impact that can be achieved when Rotarians come together. These Rotary groups in Mexico pulled in so many community partners and made large impacts in their communities." - Jamie O'Neill

Last Week: Jason Larsen, Mobile Clinic

Jason Larsen is the executive director of St. Clare Health Mission - a free clinic. His crucial work includes nonprofit mission advancement, program development, and philanthropy through dilution of idealistic visions into pragmatic solutions.

We heard a report and update about the great work being done through the collective efforts of our Coulee Region Rotary Clubs as St. Clare Mission uses the Rotary Mobile Clinic in its outreach. For a link to the recording, please contact Niki Pohnl, our Club Administrator.
