Vicki Markussen, founder of Engage Greater La Crosse, will share her story of her start-up nonprofit.
The vision of Engage La Crosse is to share local stories with calls to action around big issues, bold endeavors and inspiring leaders.
"This free platform tells stories in our community, connects you to your interests and calls your passion to action so we can build a greater La Crosse." says Vicki.
Vicki has previous experience with leadership at La Crosse Area Builders Association, 7 Rivers Alliance and La Crosse Area Chamber of Commerce. She also has served in a number of organizations through board and volunteer experiences.
We learned more about Hope Restores last week. There is so much that Hope Restores is doing in our community - diversity training, drop-in daycare services, a giving cabinet, transportation, office rental, and youth engagement - just to name a few. They shared stories, successes and resources. Here is the PowerPoint they shared and the website.

May 1st is the Pollinator Planting Day hosted by the Environmental Committee. We have limited in-person space, so we will be sharing the experience online for those who are interested.
