Discover Wisconsin Rotary Lights Pledge...Our club has pledged $3,000 and we have received $2,459 to date...write your checks out to Rotary Lights for a tax deduction. Baskets will be on the tables. THANK YOU to all who have donated to this great media opportunity for Rotary, Rotary Lights and our community.

THE NOMINATION COMMITTEE is presenting to membership the 2016-17 Club Board and Rotary Works Foundation Board (representatives from our club) ... the nominations will be presented and voted on January 7th. Click here to view.

The Rotary Clubs in the area are making pledges to help with the cost of the Discover Wisconsin Rotary Lights episode that was broadcast on October 31, 2015.  Discover Wisconsin will broadcast this segment for three years and it will air in 8 Midwestern states.  What a great promotional opportunity.

Our club has agreed to support this project and hopes to raise $3,000.  We already have $1,500 in hand from a generous member's donation and hope to match that during the month of November/December with donations from our membership.  Checks can be written to Rotary Lights for a tax deduction.  You can drop your contributions off at the registration table or send them to P.O. Box 1914, La Crosse, WI 54602-1914.  Thank you for your help in promoting Rotary Lights and our community!

Lights. Camera. Action! When 3,000 volunteers and over 3 million lights come together, it’s a magical thing. In this episode, Jake goes behind-the-scenes with Rotary Lights volunteers to learn what it takes to put the show on each and every year. Mariah explores holiday light show bliss including live music, hay rides, breakfast with Santa, live reindeer, carriage rides, a 5k Ugly Sweater Run and so much more. Honorary Membership  is offered to members who have distinguished themselves by meritorious service in the furtherance of Rotary ideals.  Honorary membership is the highest distinction that a club may bestow and should be conferred only in exceptional cases.  Honorary members cannot propose new members to the club or hold office and are exempt from attendance requirements and club dues.  Honorary members will continue to receive The Rotarian Magazine compliments of the club.

Excused Membership is offered to members whose age and number of years in Rotary total 85 years.  Excused Members will pay the quarterly dues of $67 and only for meals when they attend a meeting. 

Membership Proposals....we will no longer ask for three references when you propose a new member.  This was a criteria that our club had set not RI.  This will help us process new members into our club more efficiently.  You can access the membership proposal form online, under the Club Information site page.

Rotary Attendance policy is to attend or makeup at least 50% of the club meetings during the first six months and the second six months.  They can be done by: • Attending regular club meetings • Making up meetings at other Rotary Clubs ( which includes E-Clubs) • Engaging in club projects/events/fellowship/board meetings.
